The Cyprus Shipping Chamber participated at the annual meeting of the Heads of Diplomatic Missions held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, on 29 July 2019. Cyprus Shipping, was one of the issues discussed during the annual meeting, which was organised within the framework of briefing the Heads of Diplomatic Missions on the key pillars of the Cyprus foreign policy.

The Chamber’s Director General, Mr. Thomas Kazakos presented together with the Shipping Deputy Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mr. Costas Iacovou, the current policy matters, as well as the opportunities that concern Cyprus Shipping, stressing the need for further promotion as it constitutes one of the most financially important sectors of the Cyprus Economy. In addition, they exchanged ideas on further coordination and cooperation for the benefit of Cyprus Shipping.
