Since 2004, the “Digital Ship” Conference is organised every year in Cyprus with great success, attracting more than 200 shipping company managers and IT and Communication experts from Cyprus and abroad. The Conference deals with information and communication technologies which are related to the ships and the shipping companies. The Conference attracts to Cyprus distinguished speakers and information technology managers from around the world.

The Conference is always placed under the auspices of the Minister of Communications and Works, who also attend and address the Conference.

The Cyprus Shipping Chamber plays an important role in the organisation of the Conference. The majority of the speakers are employees of local shipping companies, Members of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber. Moreover the Conference plays an important role in the further enhancement of the image of Cyprus as an international Shipping Centre.
