The Cyprus Shipping Chamber successfully participated at the prestigious international shipping exhibition “Posidonia 2026”, held from 1 to 5 June 2026 in Athens. Reinforcing Cyprus’s position as a leading global maritime hub, the Chamber marked an enhanced presence this year with an exclusive, dedicated pavilion.
Hosting a number of its Member-Companies, the Chamber’s pavilion served as a central hub for promotional activities, aimed at strengthening the global footprint of the Chamber, showcasing the multifaceted capabilities of the Cyprus Shipping Industry and providing a platform for networking and meetings between its Members and visitors to the Exhibition.
This year’s Posidonia exhibition achieved new level of success. According to the organisers, Posidonia 2026 exceeded all prior expectations, gathering more than 2,200 exhibiting companies and drawing over 35,000 maritime professionals and visitors from across the globe.
As part of its participation, the Shipping Chamber delegation also attended the successful networking reception hosted by the Shipping Deputy Minister of Cyprus, Mrs. Marina Hadjimanolis, on 3 June 2026. In addition, a number of other successful networking meetings took place throughout the week, helping to build stronger relationships with international shipping associates and professionals.
