Taking part in important European Shipowners Meeting in Brussels

The European Community Shipowners’ Associations (ECSA), representing the national shipowners’ associations of the European Union, held a Board of Directors Meeting on 04 October in Brussels, where the Chamber’s President Mr. Themis Papadopoulos and Director General Mr. Thomas A. Kazakos, represented the Cyprus Shipping Industry as part of the Cyprus delegation.

The main discussion topics of the ECSA’s Board of Directors meeting, included the strategy of the European Shipowners Association for the next years until 2024, as well as the next steps and latest developments on safety, environment and policy matters affecting the European Shipowning Community. Additionally, the Board discussed various internal matters concerning the current and future activities of the association.
