The Cyprus Shipping Chamber held on 29 March 2018, a farewell lunch to the former Minister of Transport, Mr. Marios Demetriades, at the Epsilon restaurant in Limassol, in recognition of his work during his term of office. The Board of Directors expressed their appreciation for the longstanding and multidimensional cooperation on matters related to Shipping, as well as the significant work he had succeeded during his term of office. Additionally, the Board of Directors wished the former Minister every success in continuing his professional career.

Mr. Demetriades thanked the Board of Directors of the Chamber and, by extension, all of its Member-Companies for their cooperation, trust and commitment, which are constantly demonstrating to Cyprus Shipping, which is a vital part of the Cyprus Economy. He also added his wish to continue and further strengthen the cooperation of the Shipping Chamber with the newly established Ministry of Shipping.
